Who we are

Presbyterian Day School is a nurture-learning program sponsored by the First Presbyterian Church of Conroe and licensed by the Texas Department of Protective and Regulatory Services. P.D.S. first began in 1972 as a Mother’s Day Out program. Through the years, it has grown and changed to meet the needs of the parents and children of the community. In 1983, preschool and kindergarten programs were also offered. The staff at P.D.S. is carefully chosen to insure patient, sensitive teachers who genuinely love and respect children and will plan activities which challenge children to think, investigate, and discover.

We at Presbyterian Day School believe that:

Children are happy and feel secure in a warm, loving, Christian environment.

A child's play is his/her work and he/she develops social skills through play.

A child learns and feels secure by having clear, consistent, age-appropriate rules and limits.

Children need plenty of opportunity to succeed each day, as success breeds self-confidence, and self-confident children approach learning as fun.
